heading north tomorrow. it feels so good to be packing the backpack, with the anticipation of getting out of town. we're driving up the Elliot to the Tolovana trail head, and an 11 mile ski into the natural hot spring.

the cabin is on reserve, camera is packed, the flask has scotch, and the forecast looks fairly mild. i'll post images when i get back.


this image is from a backpacking trip last July (aprox. 1:00am) on Pinnell Mountain- further East, but roughly the same Latitude as Tolovana. no midnight sun this time around.
