Today was the last installment of our weekly public radio program AK. Budget cuts have sent this little show packing, and I'm not happy about it. AK was kind of like our state's own This American Life. It will be missed.
Also, ADN announced this week that it will no longer deliver papers to the bush. If you don't live in Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Juneau - no paper for you.
It's frustrating that lines of communication, community, and education go under so quickly when the economy goes in the shitter. This is when we need it most.
