Business Week has an article this month on America's Best Places for Artists. my last home, Boulder Colorado, squeaked into the top ten.
the article's premise is essentially - follow the hip artists to real estate nirvana. i'm confused by this line though:
"Artists, because of their typically lower incomes, usually need to seek out less expensive, developing neighborhoods where they can afford the rent."
i'm not sure we are talking about the same Boulder. less expensive?
by the way, i'm fairly sure Fairbanks is #11.
