i used to live a few moments walk from there, and have witnessed the spectacle a few times. amazing hey? how they seem to disappear and then reform really densely. thanks be to the huff for bringing this to our attention!
It remindes me of the Sooty Shearwaters. The huge migration of birds roam the Pacific Ocean (and my hometown of Santa Cruz). I think they even make it to Alaska.
