i know, it's a really bad negative, and scan. too bad. it's certainly not good for much else but the blog i'm afraid.

looks like the setting of some mythological fairy-tale, like narnia or the neverending story or something ...black spruce look so much more interesting caked in frosted icing.

I don't have a problem with the techy side of the image, i think the image is very good and deserves more respect.

You're crazy...this image is great! The way it's coming up on my monitor looks like the trees are shot in front of a backdrop, fully surreal. I love it!

I would have to agree with those who love this image. The atmosphere is amazing. I'd hang this on my wall and never grow tired of it. It has a sense of timelessness and serenity about it. What makes a good photograph is so subjective.
