Fairbanks is a long way from so much, too many people that I love, not to mention the larger photography community. I don't want to be anywhere else, this is true, but it can be difficult. The blog, email, facebook, cell, skype; these are all valuable tools, but nothing beats solid time in another's company.
Thanks Zoe. Apart from being just a damn good person who's a kick to hang out with, you've given me much to think about, much to do, and I've been energized.

Yesterday, ADN ran an article about her time in Alaska.
