when Kevin launched the site a few months ago, i was stunned at how simple the idea, and how great the worth. i immediately said yes to his invitation.
all proceeds from the sale of this edition will go to the Gift of Life House in Rochester, Minnesota. GOL is a donation funded extended stay house for transplant patients, their donors, and families. we stayed there several times during the ups and downs of Dea's treatments, evaluations, and eventual transplant at the Mayo Clinic. the comfort and community of the Gift of Life House was priceless.
i'm pleased to be able to make a donation in the name of Dea, and her donor Trevor. we will be traveling to Mayo in February for her one year evaluation.
