music, interviews, and late nights

another late night at the studio. i've gone through a heap of film the past few months, and i'm beginning to see the light. some good music has been pushing me through lately, as i've been listening to my driving music. that, and recorded CB radio conversations.

lately, i've been listening to a lot of singer-songwriter interviews, and the odd documentary, while i work. so much of that world, of writing and finessing out stories, is similar to this time spent editing images and trying to construct something from nothing.

tonight, as i was queueing up some youtube love, i stumbled across the trailer for The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez. i can't locate a US distributer, but i'm looking forward to seeing this..



i listen to Jose Gonzalez a lot when i drive. he gets in my head during long nights like few others do.
