Mark Power & advice

Alec is absolutely killing it at the Magnum blog with content since he started blogging again. His recent post that assembled advice from thirty five of Magnum's big hitters is brilliant. I'm a sucker for this kind of rhetoric, and I love that the collective advice contradicts itself in so many cases. So many great minds, words, and images, and still one can only come away with a single bit of common advice - find your own way.

If i were looking for a mantra here - a single snip to tuck in my breast pocket - it would be from Mark Power...

"Find a subject you care about. Something that moves you. Something which stirs your rawest emotions. And then have patience."
